Title: The Jury System: Do you agree the jury system or not?

I would talk about the jury system.  Jury system is truly government in the hands of the people.  Ordinary men and women come together to settle disputes between their fellow citizens, or to resolve criminal charges, by hearing evidence, deliberating together, and taking responsibility for the administration of justice by rendering a verdict.  I disagree this system because of the 3 reasons.

First, juries sometimes judge by race.  It is not nice at all.  At first, we should stop discrimination.  I meant we should let the regular juries the people who are not racists judge the trial.  If the juries were racists, it is out of the question.  The people who are racists should not sit the juries’ seats because discrimination is not good.  I would say, "you are the criminal."  Some of racists say, "there is no help for it."  I know that we are different races and we are actually different.  A good way for "different" is awesome.  For example, I have curly hair and I like this fashion.  However, there is a bad way for "different."  For example, some of people see the African American people and Asian people are very different than Caucasian people.  Thery are actually different.  Therefore, there is no help for it.  It is right.  However, if it is going to be "discrimination," the story is going to change to a bad way.  Especially, it is not very good in the trial because the defendants' lives after the trial depends on the judgment.  It cannot be any jokes.

Second, the ordinary people do not have knowledge about the judiciary at all.  The ordinary people usually had not been studied about the judiciary.  I wonder why the ordinary people can judge the defendants.  Then, they could judge by likes and dislikes.  The juries should be people who have the knowledge about the judiciary.  Otherwise, the judge would not be accurate.  I know it is difficult stuff.  However, I think the juries should be professional juries.  The things are usually going to be good if the people who are professional at it do the things.  Think it simple is better than think it complex.  Make it easy.  Then, the problem usually can be solved.  The idea of improvement for it is if the ordinary people start studying about the judiciary until the day of the trial, they might can judge the defendants someday.  However, I basically disagree this system though.

Third, if the defendant is innocent but the ordinary people judges the person is guilty, the defendant do not allow it.  I meant the defendant does not want ordinary people to judge the defendant’s life after the trial.  It means the ordinary people have less responsibilities than the professional juries.  If the defendant requested the judgment was not true.  The defendant request was quite reasonable.  The people who have responsibilities should judge the trial.  The people who have responsibilities in here means the people who have knowledge about the judiciary.  If they do not have knowledge, they should not judge the people.  They are same as amateurs.  It is also cruel the people who are chosen to be the juries.  They usually do not want to judge the people because these are not their jobs and they do not have responsibilities.

Finally, I disagree to this system.  First, there is still racial problem.  However, we should not discriminate the people each other.  We have to stop it.  Then, the jury system will be needless.  Second, the ordinary people do not have knowledge about the judiciary.  Third, the ordinary people have less responsibilities than the professional juries.  Therefore, they should not judge the defendants’ lives after the trial.  Why I chose this topic was when I was in high school in New York, I read the book which is called, "To Kill a Mockingbird" written by Harper Lee.  I will introduce several of my favorite lines from this book.  "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."  "There's a lot of ugly things in this world, son. I wish I could keep'em all away from you. That's never possible."  "Courage is not a man with a gun in his hand. It is knowing you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do."  "When a child asks you something, answer him, for goodness sake. But do not make a production of it. Children are children, but they can spot an evasion faster than adults, and evasion simply muddles'em."  These are all spoken by Atticus Finch in this book. I love Atticus because he always answered the questions honestly and exactly.  I am really influenced by this book.  I also watched the movie.  The content was almost same.  I was influenced by these about racial problem.  The main story was actually connecting to racial problem on the trial.  Therefore, I chose this topic.
